1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

While you guys are at Sparta looking for your sweaters and shooting great scores, some of us are in the shop working at what we love. Planning to be there in 2012 to celebrate my 25th Grand and show a little good wood in person. Till then, I'm pulling a few Franquette English blanks from the racks in preparation for listing on the website and I thought I'd give everybody a chance to spend a little of those Martin Lewis winnings before they burn a hole in your pocket.

Two fantastic Franquette English blanks on the block for my friends at Trapshooters.com.

E-6 is a dark beauty that will finish with superb French Marbling figure throughout. Measures 18.5 x 7.5 x 5 x 2 1/2 inches thick. There is a small edge check on the left side bottom that will mill out completely during duplication. Dry and ready to work and, as always, I recommend a period of acclimation at your location. Pictures talk:

Priced to TS.comers at $850.00 including the forend blank and shipping.

E-220 is a classic Franquette English feather blank with beautifully symmetrical mold lines repeating on both sides. A little shorter than our normal blank at 18" x 7" x 4" and 2 1/2" thick. Rare with this symmetry and feather and distinctive mold lines and proper layout and getting rarer. Pictures:

Priced at $1200.00 including shipping and forend blank matching the runout of the blank AND IS SOLD PRF. First response at Whitecrkgunstock@aol.com gets first dibs.

Thanks for looking and congratulations to Bob Malmsted from New Jersey on his Clay Target Championship.

I'll bet #220 turns out to look something like this when it is turned. This is a little 20GA Parker VH that I had done a couple years ago:

Esetter - Funny the way some makers want the mold lines sweeping upward and others want them sweeping downward. Yours is a great example of what E-220 will look like when finished. It IS SOLD and I hope the buyer can take some pictures for my gallery as it's being worked. I'm showing another one like it in a private session this morning. If it isn't claimed, it'll appear on TS before the weekend is over.

Keep an eye out for a little Hawaiian KOA here on TS in the next few days. I picked up a thirty three year old slab last night and will be taking pictures as we study how to lay it out properly. Very rare stuff and almost impossible to get nowadays in pieces big enough for gunstock applications.

    Just a teaser.

You wood has great layout for a straight stock gun and that is hard to find when you start talking about blanks with good figure. That layout is overlooked too often.
