1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Browning don't sell barrel. This is a great find even at $1500. If I had a gun that it would fit I would jump on this one.

Anyone know if this barrel will work on a Cynergy sporting model? I have heard that the fore end will not fit on a trap barrel?

The spacers in between the wood and barrels are different on mine.

They wont work on a sporting

Browning's position is that barrels are not interchangeable even on the same model of cynergy- but how could that be?

    Regards from Iowa

A couple of years ago I had a Browning with a 26" barrel. I went to the Grand in Sparta and stopped in the Browning building and explained that I'd like to have a different barrel for the gun, an over and under. I was promptly informed Browning didn't sell barrels. I asked what would happen in the event I ruined a barrel ( shut in a door, ran over it with the car, etc. ) In that event, they said they would sell me the exact same barrel that was originally put on the gun when initially sold. Not being very happy with the reply, I think I diplomatically mumbled something about "Well, your competition has the manufacturing capability and the willingness to sell barrels. Too bad you guys don't."

The rep didn't seem to care. He retorted with "Making a few barrels to sell to folks isn't profitable - we'd have to charge too much."

Turning on my heel I countered with - "Guess you should let the consumer decide."

Sorry David, but I can't let it go for $500.

The barrels will fit on the receiver of at least some Cynergy Sporting models. I've attached a picture of my wife's with the barrels on it. It fits right on. It also fit on a standard Browning Trap I had. The Cynergy barrels seem fairly interchangeable. With minor adjustment to the set screw on the forend grip, you can adjust the tightness. The forend does require adjustment. The Euro forend will not fit. A different forend would be required - which Browning does sell.
