1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

SO3, S3, and SO2, S2 are virtually the same gun, but even among the same models there're three different sidelock and tang configurations, you'll need to compare the pin locations & tang shape carefully to see if they interchange.

If you see them look very much alike, we measure the dimensions of pin locations and tang length before we do any transaction.

I take Gene's assessment as great compliment, I think this is the first and only time he said the price is low. :)

    Thank you Gene.

The labor for making a sidelock stock is approx. $2000 with your own blank.

If you can find someone that will do a sidelock for $2000 you better look at his work. I had 2 SO5's done in the last 3 years and got quotes from many well known stockmakers and was quoted from$4000 to $10,000 plus the cost of the wood. I would venture to say there is less than a dozen gunsmiths in this country that can even work on a sidelock.

I sold the original stocks for $3000 each.
