1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Here's the story behind this stock. I purchased this stock as Beretta MC trap stock. Pictures showed it to be an AL series or 30x series (301, 302, 303, 304) stock. However, when I received it this afternoon, it is apparent that someone re-inlet this stock to fit a Remington 870/1100/1187 type action. This fact was not expressed to me when I purchased the stock, and was not readily apparent in the assortment of photos taken. Seller will not take it back, claiming it was sold in an as-is state (which in reality it was, but right or wrong, I didn't interpret "as is" to take into account extensive modifications that weren't made apparent in either the description or photos, I guess I need to exert a little more prudence when entering into an as-is sale with no provision for return). At any rate, that's neither here nor there at this point.

Right now, I'm left with three options as far as I can see. See if someone here can use it, hold onto it for a stock to practice my adjustable comb skills on, or stick it on the wood pile for when its time to use the wood burning stove again (which might happen after adjustable comb practice) LOL.

I've tried to take as many photos as prudent, if you'd like to see more, please ask and I'll be happy to provide them.

I'm sure with enough TLC, and a prudent application of bondo, you could once again make this usable on a Beretta again (maybe bondo the inlet to make it fit the beretta again, and paint the stock, or cut it down for a youth), or you could probably utilize it on its modified state on an 1100.

Lets see if I can get rid of this thing for $60 shipped to you, otherwise it's going to the workbench for a future date with the bandsaw for some adjustable comb practice.
