1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I cannot locate the engraver's signature. I have looked in the usual places where these gun are signed and I do not see anything.

I've got a 3200, that looks like it was engraved by the same person @ the Browning factory in Belgium. No engraver's ID either--if you find something -please PM me. Engraving could be a twin.

Shot Show in 1961?? I would rather see a scan of the Browning historian's letter on the gun. I am interested, but wish to see the letter.

I got that information regarding the shot show directly from the browning historian.

I will request the letter and email you a copy.

    Thanks,

    Jacob

I understand from contacing the administrators today that the PM feature is in a bit of a tizzy. Is there any way you could post an email with some kind of coded entry so the spammers could not identify it. Maybe you could post the wording of Glenn Jensen's letter. OOPS! I got your PM. I will be waiting.

The first Shot Show was held in 1979! Just an FYI. The historian must be referring to some other event.

Boomer, when I get the Jensen letter, I will know more. PM me to discuss this gun and whether I should be interested. I'm not too concerned about being outbid for a 26" gun, but I like this one.

I am just relaying what Mr. Jensen, the Browning expert told me about the gun. I will confirm it once the letter comes in.

I spoke to the Browning historian today. This gun was originally sold at the Baton Rouge Sport show, not the Shot Show. Sorry for the confusion.

FYI: I should get the letter from the Browning historian within the next ten days.

    Thanks for looking,

    Jacob

Went to the NRA museum yesterday. They have two of these in different gauges on display there. Nice!

After that, we shot sporting clays at Bull Run. It was a great gun day out!
