1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Is that another Texas trophy? How about some where, when, and details of the hunt. Always looking for a good hunt.

Yes it was taken in west Texas in the Davis mountains. It was shot with traditional archery equiptment during a mule deer hunt. They free range with no season out there. You can find them on game ranches throughout Texas and also free range in the hill country where they have gotten out of the high fence ranches. The TPW intoduced them to the west Texas mountains in the 1950's I believe trying to bring a new game animal to TX they survived and now they do real well still no season and you can hunt them with any legal weapon. Fun hunt but tough country.

That thing is almost enough reason to build a man-cave. Dang that's impressive.

Where and how does he score SCI. Yearly, all time ? Anything in Texas that makes any list in SCI is a real trophy.

Eddie I didn't enter him but he was scored by an official sci rep. I don't recall the score but at the time he would have been high in the free range archery. I can bring him with me when you pick up the black buck if you like that way you can see just how big he is
