1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I don't know what your definition of "untouched" is but that is not the correct forend for a gun w/ ser# 1760912.

Sorry I meant as far as barrel work or bluing goes. I know that forearm is for an older gun this one should have less grooves and a flat bottom.

Did you know with the proof marks on the BBL that it is a parts BBL. Meaning a mail order BBL that BBL did not come on that gun. So again this is not a untouched model 12.

I know very little about Model 12, if it has correct parts or not, but I don't think it's a collector's gun @$500 consider a plain Mossberg will cost $300.

What would this gun worth if it's all original and correct? Just curious.

Thank you for your input, because I happen to like the combination of short barrel w/ IC choke.

As a collector if all right in this shape I would give close to $750.00. That is just me. As a shoter the $500.00 is a very good price.

Wow, now this site is going to be like GB: "Let the buyer beware" This used to be a friendly site, now it's like dealing with Goldman Sachs, no real answers. It doesn't usually cost very much to be honest, and now I feel that Josh's ad's will not be as interesting, if I have to start looking that close. Just my opinion, I always looked @ his ads. I am not trying to be offensive, just straight forward. Ed Freise

Well Ed, it's real hard not to be offended when everyone to post something here is bashing your gun. Buyers this is a friendly enviroment, all you have to do is post something and everyone else tells you whats wrong with it. I'm always honest about what I sell, I have an email and number listed for any questions. Theres nothing to hide here an honest shooter. Sorry if I offened any one. Josh Lovejoy 330-705-8757

I still think $500 is a good price for just a shooter.

A Mossberg will cost $300, a 870 is $400. I had both. If I want another pump gun, this seems a great value. Too bad one of my FFL charge $70 for receiving and paper work, and the other one charge sales tax plus fees (it'd be $115), otherwise I'd buy it already.

From reading another thread about collectable Model 12s, seems the most it'll bring for a ANIB one is merely double from this one, not enough to buy a good BT-99 or even just a selectable Perazzi trigger, I wouldn't worry about if it's correct or not. :)

Josh, if there were more ruffed grouse hunters on here, your gun would have already sold! A terrific grouse buster in wicked coverts at a good price!!
