1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Oh man, that sure brings back memories when that body style 1st came out! I loved those cars looks like you've taken great care of it! To bad its got the 305 :( Good luck to ya

    I had the '81 Monte Carlo, same body style, with a 267 cubic inch V8 and about 12 horsepower.

    I have an 82 monte carlo it is not an SS I like the body better on the ones that are not SS mine had a 267 in it took it out put in a crate 350 eldabrock intake and 4 bbl carb I put $5500.00 in parts new motor transmission 350 with shift kit,When I am on the Highway it barks the tires in 2nd gear,Now you have a beutiful car there,I also have a 1970 Cuda 340,Dan You have a nice car they are light,I am getting ready to paint mine,

    My brother has a near twin to yours but an 86....I had an 88 Monte Luxury Sport..best darn car I ever owned ..the 4.3L TBI V-6 had plenty of get up and always got 24mpg avg and could do 27-28mpg on long highway trips...comfy and it was still running great when I passed it along with 188K to my nephew...good old rear wheel drive solid axle /front engine technology was hard to beat

    I also have an 86 ss, only with a bench seat and the auto on the collum. great cars, i havnt had much luck with selling mine. Ive had a few calls and a couple tire kickers. Good luck with yours.

    The guy next door has a 87 T-Top Monty,with a Super 305 in it. I tried to buy it about 8yrs ago. I had a 87 chey truck got rear ended, had a 350 in it that I had over-hauled. but no sale. Henry
