1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Nice gun. Can't believe you laid that beautiful gun on that rough concrete. Makes me cringe.

    Wish I had the money.

That concrete will certainly give it more character!

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought too. I'm sure he set it on there very gently though.

Nice gun bigdog. Where are you located?

Trust me when I tell you it was the lesser of two evils, we had had rain for four days straight. everything else was soaked. And YES it was laid down very very very gently and retrieved the same way.

Nice gun! Priced right also! I meet a very nice gentleman at the Minuteman Gun Club a couple of years ago and he was kind enough to let me shoot his. It took a round or two to get the hang of it but after that it was a bird breaking machine. I have bought one of my own since then or I would be buying this one.
    :) Bill

No offense intended, but the company name is spelled Ithaca, as in Ithaca Gun Company which is visible in the photo of the left side of the receiver. I used to pass the factory a lot when I was in college.
It'll make a nice shooter for someone.

I have a 1916 4e. Mine has a 30" barrel and an ivory inlay in the forarm. That is a good looking gun. Sometimes I'd like to sell it, but then I talk myself out of it. Good luck! Larry S.

I had a Flues Model 4E and the receiver was a little different. There was a round (I'll call it a crossbolt for lack of the proper name) at the top of the sideplate that slid over when the latch was opened. Can you post the serial number, please?
