I am posting this for a friend. This gentleman, Stephen Reynolds, has started his own stock making business out of Omaha, NE. I have attached his most recent project, his own variation of a glove stock for his most recent customer. This stock is about 75% done Stephen told me. It just has a quick coat of sealer on it for protection. He has also built me a custom stock for my K80 T/S that is stunning!

This new stock Stephen made was at the range shooting in less than 24 hours from when the first measurements were taken. Stephen offers on the range fitting for final touches as well, for issues that might become noticeable when shooting.

    Thanks for looking, J.D.

1Oldtimer - the finish has not been put on yet. The customer wanted to show it off so i posted the pic of it for him and the stockmaker. Once it is done i'm sure the customer will send me more pictures and i will post the final product.

I gotta be upfront and say I hate those kinda of stocks. They remind of those avant guarde Winslow rifles of the 60's.

What is the function of a "Glove" gun stock? How is it an improvement over what we're used to seeing?

I could see where that design truly sets one's hand placement... I always thought the "thumbhole" was a bit out there... but this I like...

    Nice stock...

The idea must be it fits like a glove. With all the sharp edges it would have to be fitted per person.

Not trying to hijack this thread but I thought that this website shows an interesting glove grip with recoil absorb system. www.nill-griffe.com (click on english at the top left hand side of the page and then drop down to the bottom right hand side of the page and click on to "get more information about the revolutionary stock system)

Very nice stock. This is a great idea. I know a shooter that has to put padded tape on this middle finger knuckle, because it bleeds and gets swelled up from the pounding against the trigger gaurd on his TM-1. This would be a perfect solution, to keep the hand back on the grip during recoil. Plus the fact that I can't imagine a more comfortable grip. Jon
