Described as a "reliable liberal vote" on the court, Supreme Court Justice David Souter has announced plans to retire at the end of the current session in June. Good riddance.

Expect Obambi to pick a knee jerk liberal nut job as Souter's replacement.

Looking ahead, liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 89 and has pancreatic cancer. Sooner than later, Obambi will be finding another whack job lib to replace her.

The good news? No matter how liberal Souter's and Ginsburg's replacements might be, the result is two old libs replaced by two new libs. The ratio of liberals vs. conservatives on the court remains the same.

The bad news: the nation lost a rare opportununity to replace two luney left justices with conservatives or moderates.

Again, we're on the same page. Must be some high level intellect among us Forgottonians.

Now if we can just get those who are supposed to be conservative to act like it, to wit: Michael Steel, Rush (Humane Society of US shill), and turncoats like Spector.

Obama will have a meeting with George Soros to see who he should nominate.

How about Jamie Gorelick? Sha has as qualified for the Supreme Court as she was for Fannie Mae.

Why is Souter considered a liberal? He was appointed by a republican.I guess if an appointee by a republican isn't a puppet for the party he'a a liberal. Guess what guys? I doubt if ever again a conservative will be appointed to the court. their personal opinions are enough for the rest of us to deal with and why did they even listen to a couple of the arguements lately? Anyone who is appointed to the court is going to be a liberal. These guys have a mind of their own ya know? Dan

Obama made it clear this morning (when he interrupted a press conference of his press secretary) to announce that what he will be looking for in a replacement justice is someone who is more interested in the "outcome" of cases, and will "empathize" with the "people" who matter. He stated basically that he does not want a justice who will get involved in such side issues as the law, the constitution, or other such trivial side issues when deciding cases. Just "empathy" and "social justice" Obama has become so arrogant in just 100 days, that he now publicly declares his contempt for the law and the constitution.

The constitution means nothing to Hussein the communist nut job. It is all about ruining America the mean country. Redistribute wealth and make America the new welfare state. We are about there in all of 100 days of his dictatorship. What a sham 52% of the people of this country fell for. At least 48% still have their marbles.

Constitutional law experience should be a requirement of a USSCJ, not ethnic or class concerns. If they have studied the understand the Constitution......it already deals with those concerns.
