    HELLO:
over the years i have heard numerous excuses why a shooter misses targets or shoots poorly. here are a few of them i have heard.
1.i am having trouble seeing the targets today.
2.i can't stand the way the puller calls, lost target.
3.i had a fly or bee land on my barrel.
4.da plane, da plane! was flying in the distance.
5.the squad was way to fast, or way to slow.
6.the guy on the next field was calling so loud, it was releasing our targets.
7.as i was ready to call pull, management was using the loud speaker.
8.the puller we had, was the worst.
    9. we had a deer running way out in the distance.
    10. we had a flock of geese flying over head.
11.the shooters behind us were so loud.
12.some guy on our squad, had his gun break down, and he ruined the whole squad.
13.the targets we shot at had to be 3 hole and illegal.
    14. the least heard excuse i have ever heard" it was me, not the gun, the targets and puller were great, i just stunk up the place today"

    have you heard any others???

Rare Lunar wobble shook the oceans and the high tides caused a ground vibration at the very moment I pulled the trigger, happens all the time, why am I the only one who it has adverse effects on?

Thank you likes-to-shoot, I have had that happen to me also, ever notice that sometimes it moves the shot in different directions? sometimes high some low some right and some left, we need to harness that energy and sell it.

Personally, my last miss was due to a fluctuation in the time-space continuum, which caused a ripple in the Earth's gravitational field whereby causing my shotstring to get pulled down at the same time that the target was pulled up. Oh yeah, that and it was raining.

The scorer called the losses to load.

There is also a magnetic anomaly caused when rare elements of the target encounter a counter-magnetic anomaly just outside the 20-yard mark in front of the trap. It happens whenever the sun is at a 78.63 degree angle relative to the target path. The targets move exactly 90 degrees laterally to the phenomenom.

This is exacerbated whether #7.5 or #8 shot is used.

score keeps pen is noisy, also I like to blame the scorer for slow pulls. even with voice release.

Bought the gun from a guy that never misses. Now I am stuck with nothing left in the gun except misses. Sandbagging. Dealing with targets in a more humane fashion. I'm really sadistic, I let them think that they are getting away.

Hell I've used way more excuses than the ones posted so far. Problem is I cannot remember all of them off hand. But the most frequent one is the darn floaters that cover or blur the target.

    I can't imagine how many times I have heard, " I had a 95 but it should have been a 98."

Winter: "Moisture got into the targets and they froze solid."

Summer: "Moisture got into the targets and they're too soft to crack."

Spring & Fall: "Too windy, they never go where you shoot at'em!"

Perfect day under the best of conditions, "Must have had a hole in my pattern?"

I always get nervous when I hear shot rattling in the bottom of a box of my reloads. I know for certain that those little BB's are the ones which would have broken my missed target had they been shot down my gun barrel.
