    I'm thinking it's a Gala apple like the ones my wife buys at Whole Foods. If you have an Agricultural School near you, take a few over and find someone there who can answer the question for sure.

    Be prettier baked in a pie with cinnamon brown sugar and raisins...oh, and a glob of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top with a good cold glass of milk followed by a nice warm cup of coffee

    Looks kind of like A honeycrisp to me. I have A small orchard with three trees of honeycrisp. People stand in line to buy them at the farmers market. Also looks kind of like A jonagold. Pretty sure its not A Macintosh. Always have A napkin near when you eat one. They are one juicy apple.
