Not for Sale, it was a gift. Just thought you might like to see it. The gun is a Winchester Model 21 with 32" barrels, full and full.

It's lovely. What's the vintage? I'm guessing the Winchester custom shop, and not one of Tony Galazan's wonderful guns. In any case it's a real treasure and the prize of a lifetime. Good for you.

It was engraved by Neal Hartliep. I am not sure about the wood but it is custom.
There is a story behind this gun. The man who had it built apparently loved the Mirage casino and contracted the work on this gun but was killed in his private airplane before it was finished.
I have always loved Mod 21s but was too tight to buy one. My wife bought this one from Carl Hampel years ago and surprised me with it.

MIA, you may want to reconsider that offer. She has some pretty expensive hobbies too. Clif Adams

I certainly agree with you JOND but if you play golf with Karl, don't let him take "Larry the Legend" as his partner. You'll never win.

My dad and I had the privilege of knowing Neal, when he wintered here in Tucson.

even bluing some of his work, and assembling a couple of 21's for him when they were blued.

Neal came to us because he heard we could turn the Win nickle steel barrels black.

Unrapping his work to blue it was, to me anyway, like opening Christmass presents, awesome buetiful and always a real treat to look at his work!

Thanks for the blast from the past Cliff!
