My wife and I were in france and stopped in a shop where a guy was grinding bowls and trays from an olive tree and the wood looked like birds eye maple but was heavy, no cracks.seemed hard.I wasn't thinking about stocks at the time. just curious??

Rumor has it that TRON tried Olive (oil) Tree wood on one of his UGB's!! It caused the Gun to slide out of his shoulder and hands. He's back to the Beretta original wood.........RUN'EM
