    Fellow TS.commers:

Everybody with a pulse has heard of Solyndra. It was the all but bankrupt solar panel firm to whom Obummer loaned a cool $533,000,000 of taxpayer dollars. It was a gift actually, since Solyndra went belly up about 20 minutes later. "Poof"! Taxpayers eat another half billion dollars.

There was nothing but red flags about Solyndra's financial condition. The feds knew it but the White House walked the loan through anyway. Why you ask? Maybe it was because George Kaiser owned 35.7% of Solyndra and pushed for the loan in an attempt to cover his butt at taxpayer expense.

So who is George Kaiser? It is a matter of public record that George Kaiser was a donation bundler for Obummer's 2008 campaign. According to public White House visitor logs, Kaiser visited the White House 16 times between 2009 and the approval of Solyndra’s loan. All coincidental I'm sure.

Kaiser and the White House both denied talking about the Solyndra loan. How inconvenient email exchanges were found proving both sides lied. But I digress.

What does Obummer's dirty Solyndra dealings have to do with a thread about Siga Technologies? After all, Siga isn't bankrupt. It didn't get a half billion dollar federal loan. Obummer's toady, George Kaiser, isn't even involved with Siga so far as we know. So what's the connection?

Well, Ronald Perelman runs Siga and what Siga got was a $433,000,000 NO BID contract for 1.7 million doses of a smallpox vaccine.

Interestingly, nobody knows if the vaccine works. The only way to determine that is to intentionally infect someone with smallpox then treat them with the vaccine. Medical ethics frowns on infecting human guinea pigs with deadly pathogens. So… what we're buying is a $433,000,000 pig in a poke.

Why would Obummer do such a thing? Maybe it's because Ronald Perelman is a big Obummer fan and has been a big time dem donor for decades. Coincidentally, (wait for it...) Andy Stern sits on Siga's board of directors.

Some ts.commers may remember Stern as the former president of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). According to public White House visitor logs, Stern visited the White House 22 times between Inauguration Day (Jan. 20, 2009) and July 31, 2009. He met with Obummer personally seven times and led all visitors recorded during that period.”

The SEIU is the second largest labor union in the U.S. with 1.5 million members. Since 1989, when public reporting of political donations were mandated, the SEIU is #5 on the list of all time largest political donors. It's the largest in the 2011-2012 cycle. As a practical matter, ALL their donations go to leftist dem candidates and leftist/socialist groups and causes.

So under Stern, the SEIU and Acorn (another subversive socialist blast from the past) were joined at the hip. It's a matter of public record that the SEIU made multimillion dollar donations to Acorn. They also shared office space and staff among other resources. Acorn died in disgrace in 2009 but both groups were huge supporters of Obummer and Progressive (American socialist) causes including Obummercare.

Are you feeling the warm and fuzzies yet??

I'm sure MSNBC, the Huffington Post, and the NYT will be getting right on the Siga story. In the meantime, you can read what the LA Times had to say about Obummer's current boondoggle at the link.

All this makes Nixons break-in @ the Watergate and Clintons hummer look like small potatoes, and Nixon had to resign over his, and Clinton got impeached over his.
