Got a email from the ATA wishing me a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year. It's Christmas to me not Holiday. Really ticks me off with the political correctness even in the ATA.

How much money did the ATA get for selling my address to a company that wants to charge me $125 to scan my body?

Brent- I agree with you but I can see how a Druid shooter would be offended. It is (or was) a major holiday for them. I will say merry Christmas, others may say what they wish.

I think if the ATA had said Happy Holidays that would be the end of it. They didn't do that they are wishing you a Merry Christmas.

They are also wishing you a good year ahead not just a good New Years Day They seem to be referring to the whole New Year. JMO

If somebody wishes me "Happy Holiday", I then asked them which Holiday they are wishing to be happy. Most say Christmas of course, I then say - thank you, and a Merry Christmas to you too.

When a store clerk wishes me "Happy Holidays", I look them in the eyes and say "And a Merry Christmas to you! Because no one can stop me from saying it!"

Always gets a smile from them.

I say Merry Christmas and always will. I've never had anyone act offended tward me when I do. Even the people of apparent middle eastern descent don't seem to take offence. They understand this is the United States and a country based on Christian beliefs, at least it used to be!

txkpistol didn't send in your email address to receive the ATA news letter(Post1)that would explain why you didn't get it.

Just so you don't feel cheated take a look at this.

At least you get to see the Holiday Card.

It appears to be a Holiday Card not a statement of Political Correctness

I think that if Gary S had been behind that card if would have said Merry Christmas. I still dont like that they sold my email add to some one trying to give me a body scan.
