**Does Anyone Know Who Engraved This Ljutic?**
According to Mike at Ljutic it left the factory in November 1970 and went to Iowa. It was not engraved at that time.
It is now in California. There was a story that it had come thru a shop that specialized in Ljutics in Oaklahoma.
It is still going strong and is my favorite gun.
    Any information would be appreciated.

Looks like Bill Mains work, or close to it.

If it is he usually put his name on it with really small lettering

I concur that it looks like Bill's work. Unfortunately he just passed away so you can't send him the photo's. I have a Ljutic he engraved but it does not have his name engraved.

Yes, I wanted my username to be something I would remember. And since I sort of collected them and was a big fan. I had eight and one time. And since I needed expensive trap guns I sold my last one a year ago. Frank Conley sort of advised me on both SBTs and Greeves. So do you have something with a Starmaker engine in it? I had a Starmaker powered Cotten trials bike for a while.

What is the serial number on the gun that you show. I jsut bought #1966 from Terrys gun vault and it looks just like the one that you show. What is the serial number on the one posted above?

If the gun came out of California, it might have been engraved
by Al Grundman of Rio Del, Cal. He did my Mono in the early eighties.
He also owned Grundmans Sporting Goods in Rio Del. His Grandson, Fred
is now engraving. The store is still in business.
