Tea Party - Good idea ruined when it was hijacked by goof-balls.

Article begins below. See the link for the whole article.

"A couple of years back, Lindsey Graham had a bulls-eye on his back, at least among Tea Party types here in South Carolina.

"The Charleston branch was so enraged with the senator’s work on climate change legislation in 2009 that it pushed the local GOP to formally censure him for “bipartisanship that continues to weaken the Republican brand and tarnish the ideals of freedom.”

Across the state in Greenville, equally livid activists constructed a wing tip-wearing effigy of the senator that they flushed down a fake toilet, mounted on the bed of a pick-up truck of course, as a part of a “RINO hunt” to symbolically eliminate Graham and other “Republicans in Name Only” from the Senate.

But after two years, a hugely successful midterm election, and almost a year of GOP control of the House of Representatives, Tea Party activists here and across the country seem to be losing some of their steam."

    Quote from article -

'one woman complained to Graham, who voted against the budget compromise that created the deficit-slashing panel. “If we’re going to work our butts off to give you a majority in both houses, how can you just hand your power over?”'

Somebody ought to tell this woman the Republicans don't have a majority in both houses. Remember the kamikaze wing of the tea party nominated fruitcakes in Delaware and Nevada and returned Harry to the Senate with a Democratic majority.

I see mrs. keet doesn't take the time to get "informed" before posting democratic talking points!

Harry Ried only needed to carry Las Vegas to get re-elected, witch he did. He didn't carry any other part of the state.

We have the same problem here in WA! any dumocrat who whats elected only has to carry King and Thurston county's and their IN LIKE FLINT!!

Its the post's and threads like these, and the hate from the left, I don't vote for any democrat or RINO's!

GO TEA PARTY! Kick more socialist butt!!

The woman was most likely talking about future tense, 2012.

I just hope stupid Libs everywhere believe the creative stories they and the media are making up and telling each other. Victory will be much sweeter that 2nd Wednesday morning Nov 2012.

There will be a nashing of teeth and rending of clothes, wailing to the heavens.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

It has been reported she told her shrink, in a whispered voice, "I see Tea People!"

There's NO obligation to compromise with evil.
There's NO obligation to compromise with stupid.
I'm not going to argue, or even worry too much about which of those 2 options our current administration represents. They're one or the other....and regardless of which it is,they have to go. If you set out to compromise with people who fit one of the categories above...you've ALREADY LOST.

If Pacquaio hadn't have been in Vegas for that fight last fall(and subsequently campaigning for him), Reid would have been history.
