I have had come into my possession a book entitled "Shotguns By Keith" copyright date of 1967 and written by Elmer Keith.

The copy I have is in excellent condition showing only age but not abuse.

While it is not for sale, I would appreciate knowing the books value.

As I have just started reading it, I can't comment as to the content--interesting thus far however.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Probably around $30 - but the true value is in the enjoyment and I'm sure you will get more than $30 worth of enjoyment out of reading it.

Back in 1980 I was on a solo motorcycle trip from Minnesota to see a buddy of mine then living around Roseburg, Oregon. On the way, I didn't know that at one point I was less than 150 miles from Elmer. (Elmer's home at that time was Salmon, Idaho.)

I think it was 1982 he had his stroke, and I believe he passed away about two years after that.

Have always regretted not trying to stop and try to meet him. Dan
