Mark I did not post this but I can help, yes just call Thursday and they will put you on the list so when you show up all you need is current Driver License and Insurance and there should be no problem.
What I would do if I was you is pull into the parking lot just before the gate and walk in and show them your information and they will look you up on the list and issue you a day pass. if any problem call me @ 661/810/5324 Hope this helps, and hope to see you there.Bill

The Edwards Rod & Gun office is normally open on Thursday. If they get your name, the list can be provided to the entry control point for access Saturday morning. If you know when you will be at the Rosamond Entrance, one of the members can also meet you at the gate to help with entrance and provide additional sponsorship or escort if required.
Given recent world wide events, the increased security at this military installation is understandable. The polite and prepared actions by the ATA shooters will help demonstrate our positive commitment to supporting recreational shooting on this Air Force Base.

Thanks Bruce and Bill-- I'll be respectful and I need to go print out a current insurance card.

Bill -- nice 100 straight at Redlands BTW.

The Thursday Big 50 is still on the calendar for Sept 19. This is shot in the morning around 930-1000. Event is targets only.

The Saturday event on Sept 21 is to support individuals who cannot get out on Thursday but are also interested in the shorter 50 bird events.

Entry fee is raised over the target only event. Have something to shoot for.
