Special guest chief will be preparing lunch both days. Reports are the cooking is wonderful.

Please call to get your name on the list for easier access to the shooting range, which is located on Edwards Air Force Base.

The Edwards weather station is reporting light and variable winds (LGT/VRB 05). Temperatures near 100 degrees.

If you shoot Edwards you will realize those winds are near perfect, or still for us.

Looking forward to a hot shoot.

    High Over-All

    Homer Hansen

The weather was nice for the High Desert. The winds were light, variable and ever-changing. Tempature around 100 degrees,

The CGSTA belt buckle was awarded to Homer Hansen with a 99.

In the 200-bird Singles event, Junior shooter Jeff McLain ran the second 100, his first time to run 100 straight. Junior Ryan Howland ran 75 to finish the first 100 and 25 to start the second 100, a 100 straight with carry over,

Special thanks to Bill McLain of Bill’s Backhoe Service for donating the trophies for the singles event, both handicap events, and the events 3 & 4 combined trophies and to Jim Neal for donating ammunition for the Jr winners.

The shoot was a success due to the tireless efforts of Lupe Cantu, Reed Volkman, and Bill McLain. The trap machines and voice releases were in fine shape, targets set expertly, and scores high due to the attention and hard work of Lupe, Reed, and Bill. Thank you to all those who helped and are not named. Thanks for an excellent shoot.
