With the news about S&P downgrading the Federal Government credit rating, the video in the above URL might be of interest.

This, of course is not good BUT if the politicians took heed, it could be the wake-up call we need. But don't bet on it. Time is the primary enemy. The longer this debt problem endures, the worse it gets. It currently has us paying for yesterday's spending with tomorrow's dollars. We can never catch up.

Real change is needed and it has to come NOW! In a very few years it will be too late and simple mathematics will take over. We will spiral into a place from which we will never recover. No country in the history of the world ever has.

What are our chances? I believe they are less than 1 in 4. My evidence - the contention that cell phones are a civil right, and this right after the debt crisis "compromise". These fools will never learn and will take us down. However, put the blame where it belongs; on the even bigger fools who keep electing them!
