I received my program book about a month ago. The Eastern Zone program is not listed on the PSSA web site. You may be able to get one by calling the PSSA office in Elysburg. 570-672-9747

To the best of my understanding, the Eastern Zone is headed by their own organization not the PSSA. The PSSA is HOSTING the Zone shoot this year.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable of the Eastern Zone Administrative structure could explain this organization.

    Good luck Bryn.

Just to add to Pull Bangs message, targets are 24 bucks/100 plus 4 daily fees. Day one is only open trophies, and there is added money on all the events

Another Canadian here that is going to the shoot. Actually there's 5 of us going and we'll be there for the entire shoot. I usually receive a program but haven't seen one yet. Perhaps I'll give the PSSA office a call to get one.

Can anyone tell me if there will be a warm up shoot on the 25th?

We're looking forward to the shoot, first time for us shooting in Elysburg.

Not sure what you call "warm up shooting". However, there are practice traps that should be open. It has been my experience that any time there is a major shoot at Elysburg, the practice traps are open.

The last time I attended the Eastern Zone in 2004 (Cicero) we shot 100 Singles, 100 Handicap and 200 Doubles on Wednesday. These were registered targets. Just wondering if there'll be something similar in Elysburg.

I'd appreciate any info that may be handy for a first time visitor to Elysburg. This past weekend Butch told me about BJ's and an Italian restaurant nearby that are required dining. Are there any other pearls to be aware of? I'll be on my own, so to compensate, I think I'll eat and drink to overcome the lack of companionship--poor-poor pitiful me.....

What's the name and address of the club?

Since I plan to do the tent thing, are there showers avail? I should probably buy one of those big-time motorized house trailers complete with fancy fold-out living room, inside outhouse, and pretty graffiti on the side, but that'd take all the fun out of sitting on the stoop of my WalMart dome tent in the evening and watching the stares of my more progressive trap mates.

    Thanks,

    Guy Babin

gdbabin, from Danville take Rt 54 South to light in Elysburg ( Rt 487), Turn left and go about a mile, gun club is on the right (Gun Club Rd). Yes there is a shower house. Hope you enjoy the shoot.
