Just picked up an 8lb jug. Anyone have a load they like? 1 1/8 is what I will be loading at 1145.

    Thanks. George.

I am about half way through my first jug, but really like it so far. I got it since it was touted as being super clean. It certainly is. Liked it enough to shoot not only through the auto's, but my single barrel's also. Even cleaner than Clays.

It is bulky for the weight, which is nice since it fills the hull well. Can't really use the TGT wads as I do with 700X, but regular wads work great.

I am using a Nitro 27 hull, Win209, 16.3 grains of E3 and CB windjammer clone 8 petal. Makes them disappear completely doing my part.

I have those wads, and love them. Will load some up tonight.

One of my favorite handicap loads is STS hull, W209 primer, 16.5gr e3, DRM Windjammer wad and 1 1/8oz WCM shot. Lyman's data shows 1180fps and 9700psi. It is a very soft shooting load, even softer than an STS Light Target, so I think it may be going a little slower than that. It is a stunningly good load.

If your new to E3, Didreckson has a nice starting point for you. 16.3 will turn them inside out on singles.Your results may vary. But I like 16.3 or less.I started at 17.3. Thats too much.

My "fav" powder of late. I load 1-1/16, about 15gr with a Federal primer for about 1090fps and I really like it.
