I am waiting for my wife's Benelli to finish baking. I traded an old layout boat for a M1 Super 90. Both were in pretty rough shape so it worked out to be a fair trade all the way around. The Benelli is light enough for my wife. The previous owner had used the rustoleum gun blueing method. I decided to try the Dura Bake kit. I asked my bride what color, and her first choice was pink. So you guessed it, pink it is. I am pretty sure it is going to need a second coat, I had a small run I need to buff out, but I should know something in about an hour and a half.

Finish looks good, other than my run. The baking gives of some odor, but it will be fine.

    Gene,
Cera Kote is a ceramic coating, this seems more like a powder coat. Everything comes in an aerosol can and the baking is not as aggressive. I used a random orbital sander to knock down my run spot and applied over the first coat. My first coat was at 180 deg. for 3 hrs. my second was at 350 for 15 minutes. The whole kit from Brownells was about $30.

    regards,

    Todd
