I like the neon green wad and use it interchangeably in both AA and STS hulls.

DRA 12 Pink loads very well for 1 oz. in AA hulls. The DRXL-1 (neon green) also loads and performs well but just for reloading, the DRA 12 Pink reloads the best. The Neon Green wad seems to hold a tighter pattern for my reloads, all else being equal. You will probably be satisfied with either one as they are both very good wads.

The XL-1 work best for me in the old AA 1-piece hulls: the DRA-12 pinks (now reds) seem to fit better in the slightly lower capacity new 2 piece hull, both using 17 gr. of ClayDot powder.

Either one of these wads will give you great results with this load. Give them a try and you'll never go back to the other guys. Tim Felty Felty Enterprises 859-322-3109

    Hello,

I like the XL-1 for me. But if your one that has "problems" with the HS hull, then use the DRA 12 1 oz. wad.

    Both will work just fine.

    Thanks
