I am looking for opinions on DR an CB wads. I load 1 1/8 oz in STS hulls. Which wad would you recommend and why.
Thank you for taking you time to respond.

No-brainer. Most will make a difficult crimp and be too full. Versalite has the most room

Many of the dr wads work well

If you ask dr they might send you a sample pack

The versalite is good as are the drxl 1 1/8, tgt 12, and dxl12

Claybuster's CB8118-12 (Fig 8) allows plenty of room for 1-1/8 oz and works like a dream in STS and NITRO-27 hulls.

What Gary just said - but I use the WHITE 8 which is CB3118-12 and was CB's Fig 8 style while Remingtons patent was valid. I use both 19 and 20 grains American Select with zero problems with the crimp on Nitro 27 and STS hulls.

CB 8118 or CB 1118. Both are great wads. The 1118 gives a little more room if that is a problem.

    Less plastic fouling than Claybusters.

Makes great loads in STS, Nitro, Blue Peters, Premiers and Gun Club hulls. 19.5 grains Green Dot, Winchester 209 primer and 1 1/8oz of your choice shot.

Downrange is by far the better choice

I love the WJ-Fig 8 hybrid. Looks like flowers in the outfield.
