You could always save that 100 patch for an aspiring squad mate of yours:) Two more 99's at the Grand - the 100 should happen sometime in the near future. Also, this fall, I need a couple wood ducks for fly-tying feathers - could you save me a couple??

    Dear Professor

Some of us poor individuals still need to generate a reasonable amount of cash to support our hobbies(and support a wife that likes to go to the casino on occasion). That means I need to work, full time.

That being said, I will look for the 100 straight patch and put it in my shooting bag.

I will proudly present that patch to you at the Northeastern Grand, if you happen to break that 100.

Since you have been shooting great singles, you will no longer be in "B" class with me and have probably been elevated to A or AA (known ability).

I have been practicing very hard and hope to have a better showing in the new target year.

I will save the drake woodies for you if I happen to get any. How about mallard flank feathers? I have some if you are interested.

    Well, off to work.

Thanks - I'll try to earn that patch. My average is now 94.95 - just into A class for singles and doubles is now into B class. Hope I can keep it together for two more shoots this year. Looking forward to the Northeast Grand. Regarding ducks - thanks for your efforts. I know it will be a strain for you to have to hunt a bit this fall :).

    Al,

You already held it together for this target year which ended yesterday. The new target year starts today.

Westy Hogans and NE Grand will be in the 2009-2010 target year so get out of the gate early with those high singles and doubles scores.

It looks like you have me by two birds in singles but I might have you in doubles by a bird or two.

I WILL feel bad about taking time off from work to hunt for your feathers but.........I am willing to help out a squad mate.
