Shooting registered about 4 months now, am happy with my singles and caps games but really need some help with my doubles. I'm a one eyed shooter, read Dick Bennett's book, watched Harlan's DVD. Best to date is 86, avg these days is 80.

Live in Chicago area, willing to travel to the right doubles clinic.

    Reccomendations please?

    Thanks,
    Chip

There are no doubles-only clinics that I know of. If you just want to concentrate on doubles, you'll probably have to have a one-on-one session. Any of the folks who do clinics would probably accommodate you. The cost will be greater 1-on-1 than if you took the regular clinic.

For one eyed shooters, Nora or Phil Kiner would be my choice for any instruction doubles or otherwise. I always recommend Phil's video if you're one eyed, it has some good doubles coverage.

Phil is very open to phone converation and is most helpful, he may be hosting a clinic in yoor area in the future?, I'm certain Nora is just as helpful, they both seem to enjoy giving back to the game they so enjoy.

Kay Ohye class Doubles only for two days in the spring at Howard Township CC. Probably only 90 minutes north of you. Best clinic for doubles IMO.

http://www.kayohye.com/classes.asp Look for Howard Twp. Michigan.

Your not that bad, just keep shooting. You will get better.
It takes a lot of practice.

Chip, A good doubles shooter told me "load up 15 case of shells go to the club and shoot one case 15 days in a row at doubles. After that you should have it figured out." He also told me after you figure out doubles your singles and caps will be better. Oh ya he got the last leg of his grand slam this fall. Bill

Seems like i saw an add in Trap&Field for Kay Ohye. A one on one session is $350/hour. You better tell him to talk fast. I might take a 10 minute class. LOL
