7/8 oz of 8 1/2's running about 1225 fps. It's not for all, but it works for me.

STS, Rem primer, TGT-12 wad, 16.5 grains Clays, 1 oz #8, out of a modified choke. Same shot for second bird out of an improved modified. My averages are high B class, virtually never missing the first bird, usually pretty much an ink ball. Now if I could just get better on the second!

1 oz. #8 shot in a WW pink wad on top of 17.0 grains of 700X in an old style WW hull. Would like to use #8.5 shot, but it's not easy to find. Never had a problem setting the second barrel in my Browning or my son's 682 (something to consider). Good luck.

An ounce of #8s @ 1,200 FpS - both tubes. The birds don't care what powder or wad is used but if they did I'm sure CLAYS under DRTGT12 wads would top their list.
