It is called double sided tape...

Should find it at Home Depot or Lowes, and better hardware stores.

Worst comes to worst try an auto body shop - used for lots of trim parts (this tends to be of a better quality as well).

Go with 3M. It holds most of the moldings on cars as stated above. Its amazing what it can do.

    Arts and crafts stores.

Used to mount prints, pictures and other stuff to mats when mounting in frames.

I have some that is as thin as scotch tape and goes up to 1/8. Inch thickess.

I have used it for shell catchers as mentioned and for front optic sights as well, so it holds up to heat fairly well.

home depot has it in 3 different grades. The highest grade will stick an anvil to the ceiling.

    Bill,

Haven't you watched The Road Runner? You have to lure somebody under the anvil. Then it will drop down. I think a pile of bird seed works best. Jeez, gotta tell you everything.....

Use a piece of 10 lb. test fishing line, saw thru the tape between the ceiling and the anvil. The anvil will fall, so becareful with your head and feets. The last anvil I had to saw off the ceiling, I used clear blue Stren, super tough 10 lb test. Worked great. Now I can't remember why I put the anvil up there in the first place. Good sawing, F/S
