I got a call this morning that Don Barker's wife, Lesa, passed away this morning. There are no words that can ease the pain. All we can do is keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

To Lesa's family, Don, and the extended family at Fulton County Gun Club, our most sincere condolences.

Don you have had more pain than any man should have to carry these last 3+ years but you have been there for two wonderful women and helped them through their pain.

Until I see you just imagine I am there with a arm around your shoulders.

    God Bless.

I returned to Rochester, in Oct 2004 and resumed shooting at Fulton County CC the following spring after a 29 year absence from that club! I met Don that spring and immediately liked and respected this man and then his first wife! My wife and I were very close to both and had a lot of fun with them! The first loss was very difficult for my wife and I and now, this! My wife is devastated as she really got close to Lesa! Our deepest sympathy and condolences to you Don and may God be with you! When I visited for the Tippecanoe Valley Championships, I could not bear to ask about Lesa, something in the air said "Don't ask." I prayed then for Lesa and will do again for Don. My heart is so heavy for Don and his family. He has endured so much over the last 3 years. Don is one of the class acts in this sport, he ran the fall shoot as if nothing was wrong. May she rest in peace.
