Internal emails between senior officials at The Gallup Organization show senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod attempting to subtly intimidate the respected polling firm when its numbers were unfavorable to the president.

After Gallup declined to change its polling methodology, Obama’s Department of Justice hit it with an unrelated lawsuit that appears damning on its face. ...

Gallup has been a thorn in Obama’s re-election efforts since it began to publish polling numbers showing Romney leading the incumbent Democrat. The polling organization has also, according to the American Thinker blog, published employment data which, unlike numbers from Obama’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, does not set aside statistics which are not politically helpful to the president.

Democrats are scared to death there is going to be an "invisible wave" in this election, and Obama has already lost and they just don't know it yet.

They look at how much money is lined up against Obama, collectively, and are afraid donation money will start flowing to Romney - if he's seen as the possible winner - putting them even farther behind in the fundraising race.

The only difference between the Obama administration and the National Socialists is that Obama is using lawyers while the Nazis used jackbooted thugs. Intimidation is their key to victory.

You Should have known when Obama was campaigning, after throwing non-leftist journalists off the plane and putting on someone from Ebony Magazine, after intimidating Florida radio hosts, and all the other crap he pulled that this was the portent of things to come.

It's really a good thing they have been so blatant, because if they were more subtle they would have gained even more power and control. This election has to go to conservatives, or we will all be in the Rex 84 camps.

I believe this administration is actually criminal with
what they are doing with these lawsuits. DOJ sues
Boeing, for wanting to open a factory in South Carolina.
DOJ sues various states for enforcing immigration laws.
DOJ sues states for passing Voter ID laws. This is pure
bullshit. The DOJ should not be suing anyone. Their
job is to enforce the law. If Boeing violated law by
opening factory in South Carolina they should have been
prosecuted, but no DOJ sues them. Supreme court rules
for Boeing, DOJ is SOL. But the fact they sued is in
my opinion obstruction of justice, Boeing was doing
nothing wrong yet DOJ wanted to not allow their lawful
conduct of business. Seems to me this is obstruction
of justice. Same deal for DOJ refusing to enforce
laws, as they did with Arizona, when Arizona reports
illegal aliens to them, they not only don't do anything,
they publicly say they will not enforce the law, their
own law. This is obstruction of justice by definition.
Obama and Holder should get to do some time in prison
for these illegal shananigans. I doubt that Romney
has balls enough to press this once he is elected, but
he should. This is crime at the highest levels of
justice, and should not be tolerated.

I read in a book about the Secret Service and in it they say that he has had more death threats than any other President.

What gives them the right to use the DOJ? Isn't that a Govt. organization and isn't Polls a private matter? He uses all govt' agencies to do his private work. Mike.

I am really surprised Gallup laid down on this, as it is a Frist Amendment issue. You know, reporting things???

And it has never been adjudicated that news reporting must be factual, otherwise all of media would be in trouble.

This could have been an interesting case if Gallup stood on it's Consitutional right.
