Does any one truly believe that a cat could even be half the companion that a dog is to humans?

You've done it now Bruce... we'll surely be subjected to yet another picture of Tron's mangy feline beast complete with commentary in its wonderfulness.

Now Guy, Tron's "mangy feline beast" is really a Rotweiller in disguise. Tron uses PhotoFix to make Horace appear that way. What better companion could there be?......Bob Dodd

Gunner asks, why would anyone truly believe humans are such good companions? At best, cats tolerate them.

Anyone ever see Diamond Dave Schaeffer's hairless Yoda look-a-like from Russia?

    Bob,

If Tron's Horace cat's DNA confirms linkage to a Rottweiler, I'm thinkin' a check would reveal that Dave's Buckwheat cat is kin to a bat.

Snugglin' up to that hairless critter must approximate the feel of my wife's legs with a day's growth. Not the most savory of sensations.

A dog is man's best friend.

A cat is it's own best friend.

    Excerpts from a Cat's diary...

    Day 683 of my captivity:

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects and small, bright red colored dots which move rapidly, and I cannot capture.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. The audacity!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.

The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded!

The bird is clearly an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe....... for now...

The problem most people have with cats is you have to be smarter than the cat to train it, not so with Dogs and I love them both ... Dogs entertain people while cats get people to entertain them because they are smarter than most people ... Go figure ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    timb99...that was hilarious.

Tron, I see you drink Monster, too, or do you feed that to Kitty to help her focus?

Now maybe people who don't know Dave will understand my posts on the thread above. I had some inquiries as to what I meant, although not from any locals.
