Last Saturday while bird hunting my dogs came across their first badger. They pointed it then ran in and started fighting it. They are so much bigger than I thought. It bit hold of one of my females face then the male bit it's back and made it let go of her. The dogs were loving the fight but I forced them to leave it alone. They pointed one more later which I had to shock them off of. I was scared that one was a porcupine. Been there done that, don't want anymore porcupine encounters. Worse than the dogs getting sprayed by skunks.
