    Hello:
I recently went from Firefox to Internet exployer. Does Internet exployer have a built in spell check like Firefox? When I type on this site, I have no way of knowing if my words are mispelled or not, as I am the worlds worst speller?
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Steve,

    Talk about a step backwards...

If you are unhappy with FireFox might I suggest you try Chrome?

    It is a Google product

There is a built in spell checker (http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95604).

It is light, fast, and doesn't load your machine up with lots of history, cookies, etc.

I have ieSpell; A Spell Checker for Internet Explorer. I downloaded this program several years ago and am very pleased with it. All you do is; right click within the cell you are typing in, you will get a pop-up window with all the option for iespell. Click on "check spelling", it will check all the wording within that cell.

CAUTION: A spell checker will not correct a word that is spelled correctly, but, used out of context. Example: You wanted to type "is", but typed "it" iespell will not find this.

I like it and use it all the time. (Actually used it on this posting)

Go the the URL above and check it out.

I added google chrome and still can not fix any mispelled words. I deleted it, and added IE 9 and same thing. When I type, I want a mispelled word to be highlighted, and with a click of the mouse be able to correct it. So far, neither program is able to do this???

Go back to Firefox and enable the built in spell checker. Tools, Options, Advanced, check the box under browsing that says check my spelling as I type. Firefox is a much better browser than IE, Chrome is ok but being a Google product I don't trust it not to be spying on me.
