Scientific calculations have been done that anything less than 4.7 seconds is not possible to do all of that.

Both Neil and Pat have the flow charts and graphs to prove it and if they dont they will be able to create them with the data that is available to them.

Voice activated release adds .6 seconds to the time, so you only have 4.1 left.

Ya know ... that is just about dingdangly perfect then.

After the Government grant of $1mil was spent to research this subject and all it was determined that the perfect time was 4 seconds for a perfect instantaneous release of the target was done and with a +/- error of .5 seconds that they factored in that is just about dang perfect.

Yes it bothers me but only if it does not bother you but if it does bother you then it does not bother me so lets both agree to agree that it only bothers us if it doesn't bother others and if it bothers others than it doesn't bother us but overall this is far to bothersome to think about when the weather is about perfect to be shooting some skeet.

Opinion doesn't matter; moving or doing anything that distracts others shooters is a violation of the ATA ethics.

Would it bother you if the shooter before you, as you were going through your out-of-the-ordinary set up, spun his gun like a cheerleaders baton?

It is the responsibility of the individual shooter, and part of the mental aspect of the game, to learn to concentrate and not let distractions effect your shooting.

But is also an individual responsibility, as well as a courtesy, of other shooters to be considerate. Even if it doesn't bother you when other shooters move; you should respect the effect distractions may have on them.

The 'fact' that you ask the question (even if you are trolling) shows you know the answer.

What if you knowingly eat massive amounts of beans the night before knowing the effect it will have and purposely release that effect while shooting ... would that consti-"toot" a violation of that rule as well?

Distracting for who is the question that needs to be asked ... ya never know maybe, just maybe it made a few concentrate even more on there shooting instead of the thoughts of gouging there eyes out???
