started using this shell with a full choke with good results, anybody use this exclusively? Do you choke tighter than a .35? Somehow I shoot better with this load than the handicap 1250fps.

7.5's work good at any yardage.

That load works good for everything beyond 23 yards.

They are a good shell. I have 30 flats in the garage I think I'll use them for handicap this coming season. I have had good results with them in the past.

Years ago this was the maximum load for all of us. They worked well back then just like now.

In the winter time here during league from long yardage I will use a Remington Nitro 7.5 with very good results.

Absolutely, from 25 and beyond. .035 is plenty of choke for 27 yd too.

I shoot the red Winchester and green Remington 3 dram shells at handicap. On a hot summer day with little wind, I shoot 8 shot, other times I shoot 7.5. I find the Remington shell kicks a little less and produces less noise when fired.

Both shells will smoke a 'cap target from 27 with o.o35 choke.

Thank you all so much! With heavy 7.5's I am currently using the red Win Aa. Seems to be all I need. I am from Minnesota, and shooting in some pretty cold temps. I will keep the heavy 8's in mind for the summer.

My 1215 fps 7.5s reloads pattern effectively and provide the best results in my gun from the 27.

1200 fps and 7.5's have plenty of energy.

I don't feel much difference in recoil between 1145&1200,but a lot of extra smack to get to 1250!

I shoot games and we start at 27 and move back to 35 and this is my load of choice....I won't shoot anything else!
If you ever get a chance put this on the pattern board and compare to HDCP and you will see why you like this load so much.
