New customer, replaced copil plug and injector cyl #4 at other place. Compression is 150psi leak down test failed poorly 90psi in 35 out. Thinking bad valve? Any tid bits, common problems? Do not see many 4.7s here

It does not sound like bad valves. Bad valves will not pump up much compression. Bad rings will pump up compression but will leak under cylinder leakage. Look for a scratch in the cylinder wall.

ASK CUSTOMER IF IT WAS RUNNING HOT/ OVERHEATED/COOLANT LEAKS ETC. COMMON AFTER
EFFECT ON THIS MOTOR IS A LEAKING HEAD GASKE/MISFIRE. IF YOU HAVE THE HEADS OFF
DON'T FORGET TO STRAIGHTEDGE THE BLOCK AND HEADS. ALSO...THE TIMING SETUP IS
DIFFICULT ON THIS ENGINE . YOU SHOULD LOOK AT A FACTORY MANUAL BEFORE YOU PULL IT APART.
