In cleaning up some of the clutter, I found assorted Alcan wads, and even some fiber wads (if anyone remembers what those things were!) Among the Alcan stuff I still have is AL-7 powder, 220 Max Primers, Alcan PGS over powder wads, A few (partial) bags of Alcan Flite-Max wads and even some Alcan shell boxes and shells.

My wife says I try to keep everything. You know, she may just be right! ?

Alcan was good stuff, used a lot of their primers & wads, don't know how the plastic wads may have "aged"-- think they were mainly for paper hulls but did use them in the RXP hulls with "published data for RXP" with good results. Ross Puls

The wads stay ply-able and most are still good. I use Alcan wads for some of my game loads. The confetti effect drives some shooters crazy.LOL

They're not really a collector item. You might find some black powder shooter that would want them.

    I have 3 pounds of AL-8 powder and about a pound each of AL-7 & AL-5

I sure would like to find some old "Flight-Max #7" wads.

The 220 maxfire primers are a little oversize, use them only on old hulls you will toss or reload with the same primer again.

They are also as hot as a CCI 209M.

Just looked, no No. 7, only some #3.

Scott, I have use for 5 & 7. Really don't want to hazmat though.

pyrdex, yes and where do you live?

For both of you, if somehow we can figure a way to hand if off and avoid hazmat would consider purchasing.
