I mean when your at a shoot do you like to watch the other shooters other than when you are "on deck" waiting to shoot?? I personally love to watch others and frequently stop to watch many of the better shooters at the "Big Shoots" I can certainly understand how it could possibly be the most boring spectator sport in existence. What say you???.........Uncle Sam, Pa.

I enjoy watching others shoot... it gives me insight into the targets and is a fun way to spend while I wait for my turn at the line.

I enjoy it for all of about 5-10 minutes, then it gets real boring, real fast.

I enjoy watching my son shoot Trap. I also like to watch the squads just before mine. Gene Hapney and Don Renner showed me how you can get your mind and eyes ready for your round by watching the trap/traps you will be shooting on. I must say it has helped me.

Other than that, i wouldn't buy season tickets just to watch.

For non-participants it has limited holding power... if you're in to it... and are looking for something specific it can hold your attention.

Yes I do especially the beginners some of them are a blast. The better shooters all have their routine and they do not all have the same routine. Mike.

PS: Thanks Sam the oil came testerday. Mike.

Depends upon who's shooting. At Elysburg, there's the "squads". Steph Sandler & Steve Huber for instance, and Kay's family, particularly, Don Neilson; and their All American guests, like Jim Blevens. At Maringo, I'll go out of my way to watch Randy & Nora, and if Leo's shooting, certainly.

    There's much to learn....best...mike

I've always watched those at the top of the heap, intently!! Some have very different approaches to the game with the same results, they are winners for specific reasons!

Sounds like most of you haven't had the opportunity to watch Ray Stafford shoot doubles. That's entertaining. Harlan as well. As for watching guys like us....BORING.

I've spent a lot of time watching the game shooters taking note of gun hold at differnt stations and mount. It's amazing how differnt yet well they seem to work for them.
