now those are some nice songs compared to some of the jungle music that is played today. When I was a kid I played in a band. We each got $5.00 a piece. One time my son and I went into a pawn shop and they had a guitar for sale. I started playing it and my son looked in astonishment and said I didn't know you knew how to play? When we got home I took out my dad's old harmonica after supper, lite up a cigar, and played some of the old songs from the 50's and 60's. I still do that today as I find it relaxing. I played a Everly brothers song recently and my son and daughter were over and both said that's a cool song. They now go on u tube and listen to them and others. Tonight I will play "April Love" by Pat Boone. Wish I still had my white bucks from my early years.

I'd just like to know if I'm the only guy out there that gets misty eyed thinking of all the good times, friends that have passed and a time when we had a real ball. Fast cars that were cars, girls that looked like something you wanted to bring home to show mom and Friday nites at the local drive in?

I sent these to my mom and my aunt. I love these songs, too, even if they were before my time.

Just how old do you think I am? These are the songs that my mom listened to, not me. They were oldies when I was in jr. high school.

I was dancing to 70s and 80s music. I'm a disco lady. I grew up with the Jackson 5, CCR, the Eagles, the Commodores, Tina Marie, The Spinners, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Journey, the Funkadelics, the Brothers Johnson, A Taste of Honey, and Led Zepplin.

    Great link..

I was born in 1966 but I love this music.. I always thought that it would have been cool to be born when the music was good and the cars were Bad Ass. It would have been nice to be 15 in 1965.. The best of both worlds... Good music and sweet rides... Oh yeah i love the movie "HollyWood Knights"

No, thanks, cuz honestly I don't like potato chips and stuff. You could send me some wineberries, though, if you could keep them from bruising somehow. I can't find any wild berry bushes out here. :-(
