Well worth sharing....hoping everyone gets the message.
Let's spend our Thanksgiving being thankful for Christmas!

    Twas the month before Christmas*

    *When all through our land,*

    *Not a Christian was praying*

    *Nor taking a stand.*

*See the PC Police had taken away,*

*The reason for Christmas - no one could say.*

*The children were told by their schools not to sing,*

*About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.*

*It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say*

    * December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.*

*Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit*

*Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!*

*CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod*

*Something was changing, something quite odd! *

    *Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa*

*In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.*

*As Targets were hanging their trees upside down*

    * At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.*

*At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears*

*You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.*

    *Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty*

*Are words that were used to intimidate me.*

*Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*

*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !*

*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*

*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*

*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*

    * Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*

*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*

*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*

*So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'*

*Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.*

*Choose your words carefully, choose what you say*

*Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS , not Happy Holiday !*

Please, all Christians join together and wish everyone you meet during

    the holidays a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Christ is The Reason for the Christ-mas Season!

    Yes I do!!!

    After I first celebrate Thanksgiving

Thanks first, en-Joy Second, Praise Third(Easter)! In that order.

Greed is the reason(for the season) that puts Christmas on the self before holloween in most stores today.

Merry Christmas and Happy new Year.

We will not send a Christamas Card that does not have Merry Christmas on it.

If it offends somebody tough sh*t.

Yes, I'm a hard ass redneck and proud of it.

Damn, the political impliations and commercial implications of what is supposed to be a holiday emphasizing peace and goodwill towards one's fellow man saddens me. Example, if one does not celebrate Christmas, does that mean one is somehow anti-Christian? If one is not a Christian, does that mean one is anti-Christian? Are we becomming that hostile towards one another over our religous differences and beliefs? Are agnostics anti-Christian? Are atheists? Are Jews or Buddists? Come on, I think not, a belief likely held among the enlightened.

And I do think the posting, albeit faceious and humourous, is a bit off the mark. Last I saw even Home Depot had tons of Christmas decorations on display and for sale. Can't recall that at Home Depot last year, but I may be wrong? Privately owned companies, are, last I heard, allowed to stock anything legal that is likely to sell including Hilti products to artificial Christmas trees and to some neat "stocking stuffers" that I want..like that LED flashlight for five bucks! Merry Christmas and Goodwill to all. And Santa, I want that flashlight!

As someone said "I would rather believe and find out I was wrong at the end then to Not believe and find out I was wrong at the end."
