Downrange makes duplicate of Windjammer. Just bought some. Good wads.

I am working on a case of Claybuster/Windjammers, shoot fine, but they are a pain to reload, the skinny petals fold over and get caught too easily during the Wad insertion station

I've used (still use) original and Claybuster versions without issue.

Rick - Have been using the Clay Buster blue 4118-12B which is the replacement for th WTW-12 Windjammer - they are still available - I have several thousand on hand - I have now tried the Down Range clone WJ-12-RPL with good results -less felt recoil and less plastic buildup in the chokes - TOM

Heat on low. It only take a few minutes to warm them up.

"low heat for about 5 min.then I spread them out on floor to cool. works great"

No way that is "great". I don't even like to stop to top up primers, shot and powder.

    Spoiled with Green Dusters.

Open bag, dump bag in hopper, pick up wad, place wad on wad fingers. Beats....

Take wads to dryer, open bag, dump in dryer, wait 5 minutes, empty dryer, spread on floor, pick wads back up, place in bag or box to take to reloader, dump in hopper, pick up wad, place on wad fingers. Then, explain to Significant Other why I have to use her $800 dryer to condition my wads.

I am so damn lazy and PW'ed!!!

If you put them in the clothes dryer put them in a pillow case and be sure the case is tied shut tight. The most important thing is to be sure that your wife is away and won't return soon! If those things get out and you have too much heat you will be in big trouble!!

I'll never forget the time I decided to wash a load of shop rags. Fortunately she was away. I was cleaning grease out of 20,000 strainer holes with a q-tip for hours!!
