Looking for schematic/instructions/parts list or anything else that shows how to build a simple one-station voice release. I actually want it for one person to shoot skeet. The switching for high, low and doubles doesn't seem to be that difficult. It's the actual voice activated switch instructions that I'm looking for.

    Thanks

Try Ramsey Electronics. They have a voice actuated switch kit for $9.95. See the url above.

Clay Delay is really the best way to go, however.

I would go clay Delay just to avoid the hassle of building the thing.

We had vox stuff years ago, and it worked fine. It would have been a microphone, an ACR (audio controlled relay) unit, and associated wiring.

Difficulties included powering the devices, matching impedances ( a pre-amplifier for the mike would have been necessary) and packaging the thing.

Clay delay is good value for the money.
