I've had good experiences with Hampton Inns, so thinking about staying at the one in Port Richey for the Dixie Grand. Anyone have any experience with this particular motel?

I stay at Hampton Inn's whenever possible and have never had a bad stay. Make sure you join Hilton Honors first and you can earn points for free rooms, also enjoy your free breakfast while there.

TripAdvisor has the Hampton Inn listed as #1 of 7 hotels in Port Richey. See Link.

Not a bad place to stay....spent many a night there. I now stay at the Lake Tarpon Resort though.

Not trying to steal your thread, but I would also like to have opinions on Quality Inn and Suites in Tarpon Springs. Thanks, Martinpicker

Looks like some very good reviews for the Quality Inn.

    Orbitz reviews are great also.

Looks like this used to be the Holiday Inn Express and has changed management.

Thanks Postmaster Tim. Are you going to be there this year? Would love to meet you and buy you a cup of coffee. I love the BPS I bought from you! Thanks again. Jack (Martinpicker)

Most likely not, but things can always change.

The most important thing is avoid Rt. 19 like the plague. The most dangerous road in Fl., especially when packed with blue haired snow birds.

Lots of red light cameras also. Of course if you stop behind the line it's not a problem.
