How hard is it to disable the auto-safety on a Red Label?

If anybody has any experience with this I would appreciate some advice.

    Thanks! Ed

If you remove the stock and observe the auto safety mechanism you will see there is a small "tit" that can be removed with a dremmel tool. Easy to ndo with a dremmel.

I sent mine back to Ruger and they charged me something like 25 or 30 dollars to change it so it did not go back on safety automatically and they also put all new springs in the gun for free.

If you're a little handy with such things it's not that hard to do, pretty much what ke4yyd said......once you've removed the stock and studied the function a bit it'll be obvious what to shorten up with the dremel. Also, you'll find it's easier to get at it if you remove the left hammer spring & strut. You'll need a little pin for that to keep the spring compressed while it's off the gun.
