Recently purchased a used K80 Combo. Just realized that several of the chokes that came with the 5 piece set for the unsingle get very, very dirty on the outside of the choke tube after shooting. This has never happened on my KS5 with Briley tubes. I am left to assume that the fit at the business end of the barrel might be a bit oversize to the tube itself. Any thoughts and/or recommendations? Thanks

It might have to do with which part of the choke tube butts up to the barrel when tightened. Does it butt-up outside, or inside, the barrel? If locking occurs outside, the choke threads will most likely be exposed to the products of combustion.
