Difference in ribs question?

    Why on the Cynergy Trap model is the rib tappered, as compared to the level rib of the trap combo?<center>

    I think they are using the same barrel for all of the cynergy models. It looks like they just change the stock configuration to create a sporting or trap or whatever model.

    One is adjustable, one is fixed.

    Only the un-single has an adjustable rib. The place to look would be in Browning's website and check the dimensions of each gun.

    That is where I got these pics? Theres is no mention of rib demensions? Maybe I missed it?

    Mac, I think you're confusing your question. Tappered (Tapered) rib refers to the rib width narrowing toward the gun muzzle. From the pics you posted one can see only the elevation of the ribs and all are higher at the breech end than the muzzle. Additionally, the combo un-single is adjustable to raise/lower the POI in conjunction with the comb.
